WaterGuru is a pool company that focuses on maintaining a healthy and safe swimming environment. They have launched a commercial division to sell their new smart pool monitor.

The division sells direct to hotels, resorts, property management companies, condominium and apartment homeowner associations, country clubs, pool builders and pool service firms.

WaterGuru has recently released the second generation smart pool monitor. This new model expands testing from just two parameters of pool water chemistry – chlorine and pH – to five: alkalinity (alkalinity), calcium hardness (calcium hardness), cyanuric acids acid and pH.

This new product is also compatible with hot tubs. It can also report on pool temperatures and water flow. The system’s enhanced capabilities provide commercial pool owners and managers with the most robust, affordable water health monitoring solution. It gives management real-time access to data throughout the day.

What is the function of this device?

The smart monitor is hidden in the pool skimmer, so that swimmers are unaware of it. It uses sensors to analyze the water parameters in the hot tub or pool. This can be done multiple times a day, if necessary. The data is then sent to the cloud which creates a digital version of each hot tub or pool.

WaterGuru is a mobile app that provides pool owners an up-to date analysis of their water chemistry. It includes graphs and trends as well as detailed advice on how they can bring back the balance.

Billy Parris is a WaterGuru customer who manages 350 resorts for Venture Resorts. He describes the system as a “game changer”.

The pools on the properties that I managed used to make nervous me. It is difficult to measure the chemicals in an old-fashioned manner. Accuracy is key. What if someone became ill from your swimming pool? We can avoid liability and provide a better experience for our guests. It also improves our health department record. We solve the problem even before people are aware of it.
