Thursday Pools Implements Water Safety Program in May

Thursday Pools is committed to the importance of promoting water safety awareness in our industry. As a result, the company says it has put together an impressive series of promotions and products to increase the awareness of water safety during Water Safety Month this May.

Thursday Pools is running events, doing promotions with the National Drowning Prevention Alliance on social media, and working with a local television news station — as well as providing education coloring books for children that detail safety steps to be taken around summer water activities. The goal is to heighten awareness before the summer months when so many people are swimming and enjoying water in the summer heat. The promotions and events are being promoted by both the Thursday Pools and the River Pools brands.

For pool professionals, Thursday Pools has created social posts in conjunction with the NDPA, which the company can provide directly to pool professionals (at no charge) to share on their own social media platforms.

Additionally, Thursday Pools is providing water safety coloring books for their dealers at no charge — so that builders and retailers can give them to children and their parents to remind them of the important steps to take to safely enjoy their swimming pool this summer. The coloring book comes with a kid-friendly video about water safety that can be looped on an iPad or similar in pool stores so kids are learning while parents are shopping. The video reinforces the pool and water safety messages included in the “Ten Cool Pool Rules for Kids” booklets that are free to pool professions to give away in stores or even for service professionals to leave with their clients after service visits. Dealers interested in receiving copies of the coloring books or to obtain a copy of the video to loop in your store this summer (or place on your website), can contact Shelby Bubnick at [email protected].
