Sunlover appoints a new MD
Steve Rickard is now Sunlover Heating managing Director.
Rohan London, founder of Rohan, says that this appointment comes after a period of organic growth for Rickard. He was a key leader in the team driving innovation and growth alongside the Sunlover Queensland operation headed by Kris Jones and Peter Wappett.
London will slowly step aside from his daily management responsibilities. Rickard believes he is well-placed to take over and lead the company forward. London will continue to be a valuable presence and contribute to strategic decisions, while slowly retiring at an accelerated pace.
London says that the company is in a healthy place because of the strategic placements and the way in which our management team has been built over the past five-years.
“Over the years Steve and I have achieved a lot. I am delighted to see the larger team, headed by Steve, give life and energy to our exciting plans for the future.”
Rickard was named director and general manager in 2008. He played a crucial role in the integration of Sunlover’s NSW operations with Carlile Solar after the takeover and in expanding the Sydney retail and trade markets.
London says that Sunlover Heating is proud of Steve’s vast experience in marketing and product development.
Under his leadership, the company will embark on a new chapter in expansion and progress. This includes the implementation of a brand new software system, moving to larger offices across the three states, and the introduction of new products and exploring new markets for pool and spa equipment.
Sunlover Heating currently employs approximately 75 people across the country as contractors and team members.
Naked Pools hires new BDM
Naked Pools appointed Sarah Barben to be the business development manager for Queensland & NT.
Director Darren Milne said that Naked Pools is delighted to have Barben onboard.
He says that Sarah has over 15 years of industry experience, including 12 years as a service and sales representative at AstralPool.
Her passion for product innovation and love of nurturing existing customers make her an asset to our company.”
Barben also enjoys paddling, cycling, and exploring the outdoors outside of work. Barben is also a master practitioner in neuro linguistics because of her curiosity about brain function and human behavior.
