Pool Scouts raises funds for 1,500+ swim lessons going to underprivileged children across the country

Pool Scouts is a pool maintenance and service franchise that has more than 109 units. It is part of Buzz Franchise Brands. The Hope Floats Foundation’s mission to prevent drownings through education and awareness about water safety, was formed as a partnership.

During Water Safety Month, Pool Scouts gave $1.00 for each service they provided to the Hope Floats Foundation. This money was used to give scholarships to children to take swimming lessons. Pool Scouts have raised more than $32,000 in the last two years for the Hope Floats Foundation. The funds raised will be used to provide scholarships for swimming lessons for children across the country who otherwise would not have been able afford them. These scholarships will be awarded in the local communities this month.

Hope Floats Foundation, a nonprofit organization, funds swimming scholarships for children from underprivileged backgrounds. Children under the age of five are most likely to drown, while children aged under 14 are second. Hope Floats has more than 200 business and swim partners in 31 states, who are currently fundraising for local scholarships.

Cindy Tonnesen is the founder of Hope Floats Foundation. She says, “Year after Year, Pool Scouts continues stepping forward and helping us in our mission to prevent childhood drownings across the United States.” “They’re a fantastic example of how businesses can give to the communities that they serve.”

Michael Wagner, President of Pool Scouts, says, “Safety and the potential for lifesaving benefits to families and children is our number one priority. This partnership with Hope Floats enables us to do just that.”
