The Australian Leisure Facilities Association Queensland has reestablished its board, which includes key industry leaders. This is the first time that Queensland’s peak aquatic body will be actively involved in representing Queensland aquatic professionals.
Jay Clarke says that the newly appointed ALFAQ President is building a framework for the post-covid era. This framework will support members to understand and implement policies and procedures. He said they were aiming to foster a collaboration with their members through events and advocating initiatives that raise the standards and performance of the industry.
“ALFAQ challenges the Queensland industry to unite and support an organisation that exists primarily to support them.”
Rebranding is being actively considered.
The new ALFAQ Board members are:
- Jay Clarke, ALFAQ President & Managing Director of City Venue Management.
- Dan Kwaczynski, ALFAQ Vice President and Managing director of Maytronics Australia.
