Change Requests are now open for the next MAHC edition; they will be available until October 13, 2023

The Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code CMAHC is currently accepting Change Requests for the next Edition of the Model Aquatic Health Code MAHC (5th Edition). The CRs were opened on April 17, and they will close on October 13, 2023.

To submit a change request, you must first register on the CMAHC website. To submit a CR, visit https://cmahc.org/change_requests. Each person is limited to submitting 50 CRs.

What does a change request mean?

CMAHC gathers, evaluates and relays MAHC change request recommendations to CDC via its triennial Vote On The Code conference scheduled for February 2024. ( Details here). CMAHC members will gather to discuss, evaluate, and make decisions on the proposed MAHC Change Requests during this conference.

Change Requests are suggestions for improvements and/or updates to the MAHC. CMAHC members, the general public or Ad Hoc Committees can submit CRs. Click to view the full details of the MAHC update and change request process.
