Latham Introduces Its Latest Industry-Leading Measure Technology, MeasureGO

Latham Group, Inc., one of the largest designers, manufacturers and marketers of in-ground residential swimming pools in North America, Australia and New Zealand, is building on the cutting-edge technology of its Measure platform with the launch of MeasureGO — a new mobile app designed to make professional-grade pool cover measuring more accessible than ever. This latest innovation reflects Latham’s continued commitment to improving productivity and accuracy for builders through advanced Lidar tools and AI-powered solutions.

Available as a free download to its customers, the patented MeasureGO app offers a offers a simple, digital approach to measuring pools for safety covers. The app leverages Apple’s native LiDAR Scanner (available in the iPhone Pro) to capture millions of measurement points to create a project point map. The user then walks around the pool selecting key points to define the pool’s perimeter and anchor points.

“MeasureGO is an ideal solution for builders looking to gain a competitive edge,” says Will Cappiello, product director at Latham. “It offers a seamless, end-to-end measuring experience, from measurement to installation, with little to no upfront investment.”

Key features of the patented MeasureGO app includes:

  • Designed for Simplicity: Tailored for all pools, with no complex external features, such as a raised wall or slide
  • Low-Cost Entry Point: Free to download and use, ideal for pool builders looking to access professional-grade technology without an upfront investment.
  • End-to-End Integration: Seamlessly connects to Latham’s Builder Management Portal for instant drawings, quoting and streamlined ordering.
  • Powerful Technology: Utilizes Apple’s LiDAR Scanner to create high-resolution point maps by walking the pool’s perimeter, steps and tagging anchor points.

Like the flagship system, now renamed MeasurePRO, that focuses on more complex covers and inground liners the new MeasureGO app reduces the need for multi-person crews at a pool site, allowing a single technician to capture precise measurements. Builders can simply upload the project/data to Latham’s Builder Management Portal, enabling real-time drawings, accuracy verification, and streamlined quote and order processing. In addition to streamlining the measuring process, Measure helps dealers process orders faster — cutting manufacturing timelines from weeks to days. Considering the majority of safety covers are measured and ordered in a ninety-day window, Latham MeasurePRO and now MeasureGO will certainly provide Latham Pool Builders with a competitive edge.

“Latham Measure is a category-defining transformation for the pool industry,” added Cappiello. “By digitizing a process that has been manual for decades, we’re bringing speed, accuracy, and automation to pool manufacturing. With the launch of MeasureGO, we are now able to offer this advanced technology and simplicity to pool businesses and builders of all sizes.”
