Last Drop: Barrie-based pool firm creates resort-like backyard paradise

CCS Pool & Landscape in Barrie, Ontario, was entrusted with the vision of creating a paradise-like retreat within their backyard. A once-blank canvas was transformed into a tranquil oasis by installing a vinyl-lined custom pool measuring 12.2 x 4.49 m (40×16 ft). The pool is not only functional but also attracts attention.

A side-entry stairway offers an elegant introduction. The custom tanning platform, complete with inwater loungers and a water feature, invites relaxation. As the day becomes night, fire and water bowls add a magical touch to the scene. The ambience of this aquatic paradise comes alive after dark, illuminated by the soft glow from LED sheers. A system of automation was installed for easy management of the backyard. CCS Pool & Landscape installed a patio flanked with majestic pillars, lush gardens, and the pool as the focal point of the project. The custom pergola with its natural gas fireplace is a cool retreat for the evenings. A putting green, basketball court and a putting-green complete this backyard. CCS Pool & Landscape won the 2023 Art of Water Award in the Residential Inground vinyl liner pool category. S
