In Memoriam: Scott Bittner

Scott Christian Bittner, age 69, passed away at his home in Crosslake, Minn., on June 22, 2024, surrounded by his family. Scott was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on December 25, 1954, to John and Dorothy Bittner. He is survived by his wife, Laura, his children, Kathleen and John, his grandchildren Charlie and Miles, his mother, Dorothy, and his brother, Bruce.

Fresh out of college, he pursued a career in sales, where he gained countless friends and a lifetime memories. He earned the respect of so many. His words helped to build and evolve many companies and businesses. You wanted him on your team, and there are many teams out there that will feel his absence.

Scott considered himself a follower of the teachings of Christ. He will be remembered for his deep faith, amazing character and integrity, wit, and love of family and friends. His legacy will carry on forever, reminding us to choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service.

Scott made an impact on many lives. He will be missed. The family would like to thank all family, friends, and colleagues for their support and prayers. A celebration of life, with details to be determined, will occur at a future date.
