As a wave of increasing interest in water-based wellness continues to crest over the industry, a new hot springs location opened earlier this year, coming from WorldSprings, one of the nation’s leading outdoor wellness operators.
Zion Canyon Hot Springs is WorldSprings’ third location, situated just minutes from Zion National Park in southwest Utah. Featuring a beautiful lineup of natural and manmade mineral pools, this stunning destination strengthens the brand’s dedication to “making simple wellness more accessible.”
“It was such an honor to be approached by La Verkin to create this destination and reopen public access to these special waters in recognition of our success in launching Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, Colo.,” says Steve Beckley, co-founder of WorldSprings. “It is truly a full circle moment as this national expansion comes one decade after we launched that very property. What began as a single location has evolved into a network of natural wellness destinations, making the unparalleled healing power of mineral waters accessible to more Americans.”
According to the official announcement, Zion Canyon Hot Springs offers exclusive access to La Verkin Sulphur Springs, which WorldSprings notes as a “national treasure developed through a landmark partnership with the Utah Water Conservancy District.”

Over 50 geothermal and “globally inspired” mineral pools, modeled after famous hot springs like the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and the Dead Sea, are available for guests to enjoy. With water temperatures ranging from 88 to 104 degrees, WorldSprings boasts a number of wellness benefits that patrons can gain, such as reduced stress, improved sleep, enhanced recovery and even a deeper human connection.
The pools aren’t the only draw to Zion Canyon, too — with a number of cold plunges, barrel saunas, a freshwater family pool, and even an on-site café, this relaxation oasis is designed to provide guests with their “reward at the end of the trail.”
“We’re excited to open what will be a premier hot springs destination in the United States and welcome guests to an oasis where they can relax, rejuvenate, and connect with nature,” says Ronald Neumann, Zion Canyon Hot Springs’ general manager and vice president. “I have opened and led luxury properties in Colorado, Washington, Illinois, Georgia, and Arizona and the Greater Zion community stands out as an incredible partner for their excitement and hospitality.”
Following its opening ceremony this past July, Zion Canyon Hot Springs is certainly set to be a captivating destination for all who search for calm in their lives.
