Watershape University Offers Four Key Courses for Everything Under the Sun Expo

The pool and spa industry will travel to Orlando, Fla., for the Everything Under the Sun Expo hosted by the Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA), from March 11 to March 15, 2025. With everything from specialty education, awards ceremonies and parties to the exhibit hall, the week is packed with several opportunities to learn, grow and nurture your relationships in the industry.

Watershape University, one of the industry’s centers of education, training and certification, will be onsite to offer exceptional courses to attendees. “Whether you’re a builder, designer or service professional,” the organization says, “these courses are tailored to help you elevate your expertise and grow your business.”

Four key pre-conference courses will be offered during the week, alongside a set of shorter courses that will be available during the show itself. The pre-conference courses include:

CONSTRUCTION 2111: Essential Pool Construction (English and Spanish) — A foundational course for builders and renovators, covering key elements like geotechnical principles, plaster science and start-up techniques. Led by top builders and plasterers Bill Drakeley, Paolo Benedetti, Jon Temple and Brett Holland.

Pass the online professional exam at the end of this course and earn the Certified Watershape Foreman (CWF) recognition. Since the CWF is approved for licensing in multiple jurisdictions, according to WU, adding it to your resume will “demonstrate your ability to lead construction projects with confidence, efficiency and excellence.”

DESIGN 2211: Essential Elements of Design Workshop — Unlock the foundational principles of design and transform the way you approach your projects. Led by top designer Jason Brownlee of JBrownlee Design in Nashville.

BUSINESS 2121: Pool Inspections for Real Estate Transactions — Expand your services and become a trusted resource for pool inspections in the real estate market. Led by successful pool inspectors Dennis Boyd and Howard Weiss.

CONSTRUCTION 3611: Essential Plaster Workshop (English and Spanish) — Dive into advanced plaster techniques, chemistry insights and start-up methods to ensure durability and quality in every project. Led by plaster innovators Jon, Robert and Johan at Tempool.

“Watershape University is excited to participate in the Everything Under the Sun Expo,” the organization says. “This premier event for pool professionals is your chance to learn, grow and network with industry leaders.”
