Uniforms are a great option for retail and pool service staff.

Uniforms that have a company logo are a sign of unity and organization. The company logo on all vehicles should be the same. This will show that the business is organized and has a well-known brand. Photos by Jason Cramp

Uniforms give employees a professional appearance and increase brand awareness for their business. This is particularly important for pool service personnel and retailers who often visit clients. The clients must be able trust workers who enter their yards and homes to install or maintain their pools. Uniforms can also help staff promote the company and keep up with their competitors.

Creating identity and trust

Uniforms have a positive impact on employees’ identity and job satisfaction according to a Cornell University study. This can translate into better performance at work. They feel obliged to be a good representation of the company and are reminded who their work is.

Employees feel more connected to the team when they dress uniformly. A shared sense of identity makes work less about the individual but more about the company. This is particularly important for retail and pool service staff who work outside the company building.
