America’s Swimming Pool Company, a swimming-pool service franchise has launched its own construction division. ASP, with more than 360 franchised stores across the nation, can now offer a complete spectrum of pool construction, including fibreglass, inground concrete and vinyl pools.
The Pool and Hot Tub Association reported that 96,000 residential inground swimming pools will be constructed in 2020, the highest number in over a decade.
ASP franchisees find that construction services and related businesses are significant revenue sources for their business. The reason for this is partly due to the scope and size of the projects as well as how often consumers request the service.
Shaun Hurley is the director of construction and renovation at ASP. He says that their locations are experiencing a boom in business with popular additions such as strip lighting installed in pools, recessed fireplaces, water bowls and fire bowls.
