The pool should be inviting, sparkling clean and full of fun. Pool builders, retailers, and services professionals all work hard to make sure their clients enjoy owning a pool. It is therefore important to bring up cleaning practices in early conversations, to establish expectations, provide guidance and offer solutions. It is important that the customer find their pool easy to maintain without stress or hassle. Pool professionals often introduce robotic and handheld cleaners to help clients with the “cleaning discussion” and to make the process easier.

Cleaning Technology

Technology that allows consumers to spend more time on leisure is a favorite of all consumers. These pool cleaning discussions can start with technology that they are already familiar with and trust. Some professionals compare pool cleaners with dishwashers. If you don’t want to wash your dishes by hand, you can run the dishwasher daily to keep them clean. In the same way, it’s a good idea to keep a robotic pool cleaner or a battery operated pool cleaner nearby so that you can always have clean water. Also, it is important to educate customers on the advantages of hand-held or robotic pool cleaners that are self-contained. These products may be unknown to many customers. Cordless cleaning options with robotic and premium hand-held devices offer technology advantages that consumers will enjoy. The technology in pool cleaners makes it easier to maintain and clean.

Many pool professionals use robotic cleaners and hand-held cleaners to gain the loyalty of their customers.

Cleaning is not all that

After pool professionals have started the discussion about cleaning, they should then explain the many other benefits that a robotic cleaner can provide. They improve the water circulation, and they help to distribute chemicals and heat evenly throughout the entire pool. A robotic cleaner is similar to the moving pump and filters at the bottom. The use of a robotic cleaner can reduce the strain on the pump and filter. This extends the lifespan of the other equipment. Robotic cleaners are more effective because they only filter the water and not the dirt on the pool floor. You should explain to your clients that if the filter is only required to remove the particles in the water and not the dirt from the bottom, it will work more efficiently to keep the water clear. A robotic/automatic cleaner is also a great investment because it reduces chemical use and increases the life of cartridge filter cartridges.

It is important that if a professional has time to educate a client, they explain how robotic pool cleaners constantly scrub the surface of the swimming pool, breaking up biofilms and algae. This allows the chemicals and filters to work more efficiently to keep the water clean.

Once customers have seen them in action, and realized that they can be thrown into the water with ease, they will want to buy one to keep their pool as clean as possible, even between maintenance visits.
