The State of the Industry Report for 2023: Part Two

We published the State of the Industry Retail Report 2023 last month. It appeared that the demand pool spa retailers have been grappling with for the past few year is beginning to level off. We examined available inventory, price fluctuations, spa sales, and more.

This month we will be looking at the digital aspect of things. In a survey, we asked respondents to rate the importance of social media in their company. 43% responded that they put a lot of effort into ensuring their social channels are helping their business grow. We found that 61% have a percentage of their sales coming from online. And as for BOPIS — a buy-online-pickup-in-store strategy that was made more popular over the pandemic period — only 37% of survey takers say they currently offer the service.
