Tara Manufacturing Presents $338,384 Donation to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund

Photo courtesy Tara ManufacturingTara Manufacturing, a leading innovator in pool and outdoor products, will present a check for $338,384.01 to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund at a special event on September 23, 2024, at their facility in Owens Cross Roads, Ala. The donation represents the proceeds from the sales of Tara’s Celestial Skies pattern, a unique product designed to support Alzheimer’s research and honor the company’s founder, Marshall Richardson.

Tara Furlough, CEO will be present to deliver the check on behalf of the company. Alex Grover, CEO of i2M, the supplier of the Celestial Skies material, will also attend to present an additional donation raised by i2M in support of the cause. A representative from the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund will be on hand to receive the contributions and share remarks on behalf of the organization.

“We are incredibly proud of the Celestial Skies initiative and the impact it has made in supporting Alzheimer’s research,” says Tara Furlough, CEO of Tara Manufacturing. “This cause is close to our hearts and we are grateful to our partners, employees and customers who have contributed to this effort.”

The Celestial Skies pattern was launched in celebration of Tara Manufacturing’s 40th anniversary, embodying the company’s commitment to giving back to the community. Inspired by founder Marshall Richardson’s values of innovation and charity, the design features Shimmertone highlights representing stars and incorporates Alzheimer’s awareness purple, with 100% of the profits donated to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
