Suspecting foul play, he took matters into his own hands, purchasing pool testing strips to analyze his morning brew. What he discovered was alarming: high levels of chlorine, indicating the presence of bleach.
The victim, Roby Johnson, detailed his suspicions, revealing that his wife was aware of his nightly routine of preparing the coffee pot in advance for the morning brew. This knowledge, coupled with his taste tests and the damning evidence from the pool testing strips, led him to believe that his wife was attempting to end his life.
