Pool Pro Rudy Stankowitz, Joins Film Production

30-year veteran of the swimming pool industry, Rudy Stankowitz (author, columnist, and executive producer of the popular Talking Pools Podcast), is excited to announce his involvement with the film “Bunker Heights.”

Stankowitz, originally from Long Island and now residing in Florida, is known for his podcast, contributions to the swimming pool industry, technical books, children’s book series “Pig Tot” and psychological thriller “Blades of Glass.”

Bunker Heights,” a genre-bending film written and directed by Drew Fortier, delves into the complexities of a troubled city facing a catastrophic crisis. Blending elements of crime, horror, and dark comedy, the film promises a gripping narrative that follows the lives of its citizens as they navigate a looming threat that jeopardizes their very existence.

Under the production of Hannah Fierman, known for her work in “V/H/S,” “Dark Circles,” and “Siren,” and featuring special effects by Deryk Wehrley (“Late Checkout,” “Crust”) and cinematography by Gordon Cameron (“Her Name Was Christa”), “Bunker Heights” is set to be a cinematic experience like no other.

The film, currently in post-production, boasts an ensemble cast including Drew Fortier, Hannah Fierman, Chaney Morrow, Paul T. Taylor, Floyd Ewing Jr., Douglas Esper, James L. Edwards, Daniel John Kearney, L.C. Holt, Xander Goldman, Christopher Robin Koch, and notable talent from the music world such as David Ellefson, Violent J, Vinnie Dombroski, Lance Eric, James Leg, and Bass Amp.

“I am excited at the opportunity to be a part of the ‘Bunker Heights” film, to work with Hannah and Drew, and to open the door to future endeavors in the horror genre,” said Rudy Stankowitz. “I am a huge fan of horror movies, and to have even a small part in the creation of one is an honor.”

Writer and director Drew Fortier said, “We are excited to rope Rudy into our fun little world of Bunker Heights as Associate Producer. He has been an essential component in helping wrap up post-production for the film. We are ecstatic to show the world what we have created; though there is no solid release date at this moment, it will be worth the wait!”

Hannah Fierman, producer of “Bunker Heights,” said, “We. are thrilled to have Rudy on board as an AP for post-production. He swooped in after principal photography and helped us find funds for post which is hugely helpful.”

As the film enters its final stages of production, with no release date set yet, the anticipation continues to build. “Bunker Heights” promises an unforgettable viewing experience with its blend of compelling storytelling and outstanding performances.
