COVINGTON, LA – Pool Corporation (Nasdaq/GSM: POOL) announced today that it has acquired the business assets of Atlanta, Georgia-based Swimline Distributors, Inc. (“SDI”) effective May 31, 2024.  Originally founded in 1976 by Bob McCoy, SDI serves the metro Atlanta and northern Georgia markets from distribution centers in Atlanta, Alpharetta and Kennesaw, Georgia. 

“For almost 50 years, SDI has been a leader in providing products and supplies to swimming pool building, service and maintenance contractors and retailers throughout metro Atlanta and northern Georgia,” said Peter D. Arvan, POOLCORP president and CEO. “Kelly and Scott McCoy, and their father before them, established a legacy of outstanding customer service to the region’s contractors and retailers. Combined with POOLCORP’s local leadership and sales centers, we will provide expanded resources and product offerings focused on further improving service and support to SDI’s customers. We are pleased to add the SDI team to the POOLCORP network and to expand in this major swimming pool marketplace.”
