Pool Contractor makes a grizzly discovery in Delray Beach

A horrifying incident in Delray Beach, Florida has shocked the local community. William Lowe is currently behind bars, accused of killing his 80-year old wife Aydil Barrosa Fontes. The brutal crime involved dismembering the body of Aydil Barbosa Fontes and placing her remains in three suitcases, before throwing them into the Intracoastal Waterway.

One of Jacob Grozier’s employees at Swordfish Pool Care stumbled across one of these suitcases as he was servicing a swimming pool. Grozier’s colleague was horrified to discover human remains inside the suitcase. They immediately alerted Grozier who was just two blocks away. Grozier told reporters that the suitcase was covered with flies, and emitted a horrible smell. They opened the suitcase with a pool rod and got a better look at its contents.

The investigation was launched immediately after the police were contacted. Grozier, and other members of the community speculated that organized crime was involved because of the dismemberment. However, they did not realize the extent of the horrific event.

Delray Beach Police released a photo of Aydil Barrosa Fontes. She is the victim of the tragic case in which her husband William Lowe has been accused of murdering her.

The probable cause affidavit states that witnesses saw a man several times near the water, looking at a suitcase floating in the water. The man said he was waiting for a large vessel to arrive when questioned.

William Lowe, a man from the United States of America, was arrested in 2023 and charged with murder first-degree and abuse of dead body. Lowe’s lawyers insisted on his innocence despite the overwhelming evidence. They said that he will plead not-guilty and prepare for trial.

Grozier and the entire community are still in shock over this heinous crime. The discovery of floating body parts in the calm waters of Florida’s ocean is a chilling example of how darkness can lurk in unexpected locations. The neighborhood is still in shock and searching for answers while they wait to see how the legal process unfolds.
