The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, the trade association that represents the swimming pool, spa and hot tub industry, is proud to announce the graduation of its first cohort from the PHTA Leadership Certificate program powered by Cornell University . Ten industry professionals received the Executive Leader Certificate and fourteen others earned the Emerging Leader Certificate.

This certification is the result of a three month program led by Cornell University Professors that taught leadership and management skills to help a business stand out from the competition. The Executive Leaders Program focused on developing soft skills and a strategic mindset needed by a leader to effectively communicate strategy, negotiate, influence team behavior, and deliver results. The Emerging Leaders Program helped participants discover their leadership style, and develop interpersonal skills in order to help their teams reach their full potential.
