The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance is inviting you to join the Standards Consensus Committee, PHTA’s official consensus-voting body. The SCC reviews and votes on all standards for hot tubs, spas and pools that are to be approved by ANSI.

Members of PHTA’s SCC can be classified in one of the four interest groups: Producers, User-Government or User-Consumers, or General Interest. Participating in the PHTA’s standards-development process are subject matter experts like engineers, architects, public health officials, and representatives from other organizations.

There are vacancies in the Producer, U-Government, or User-Consumer categories. To be eligible for a SCC position, applicants must complete the SCC Application Form before February 17, 2023. They also need to adhere to PHTA’s Procedures for American National Standards and Antitrust Policy, Conflict of Interest Policy and Volunteer Code of Conduct.

For more information on the SCC and the ANSI standards-development process, please contact [email protected]. Or visit the PHTA Standard webpage.
