This summer, we had the chance to try Big Joe Swimming Pool Floats in our pool. After two years of use, we have become huge fans. There are many choices when it comes to pool floats. Big Joe offers the most comfortable pool floats available, even if you’re not a fan of vinyl inflatables.
The Big Joe PoolFloats are easy to clean and resist fading in direct sun. They have held up well after being stored and used for two seasons. The collection of Big Joe floats was first purchased in the summer 2021. The floats were used all summer and didn’t show signs of stress due to being tossed around in the pool. This was a relief, as other bean bag-style pool flotillas had this tendency to look ‘played out after about a month.

Big Joe Captains Pool Float
It was one of our favorite pool floats and made it to the top of our list of 40 favorite pool floats. It was our favorite of all the Big Joe floats and held up well in the pool. This is a great deal for the money at $75.
Big Joe Lazy Lounger
Big Joe’s lazy lounger was used a lot in our pool this summer as well as last summer. This durable float was able to withstand the test of time even after being stored away. The colors didn’t fade, and they remained vibrant year after year. The Lazy Lounger comes in many colors and patterns.
Big Joe Roma Pool Float
The Big Joe Roma Float is my favorite, along with the Captain’s Float. This float folds up easily and can be taken to the beach or lake with its sturdy back support and convenient cup holder.
Big Joe Kona Pool Float
A few Kona Floats were added to our inventory. These spacious, comfortable floating mattresses are great for relaxing on the water. They are durable and provide a great float for our dogs. You’ve probably seen your dog swim in the pool. They loved the Big Joe Kona Float. Below are the two styles we chose – Faded Stripe Aqua & Blurred blue.
Big Joe Noodle Sling
There are two styles of the Big Joe Noodle sling. The Blurred Blue version is identical to the one shown below, but it can be used with the other collection. These were added for guests, and they were quickly taken by family and friends when they arrived.
Big Joe Noodle Sling Red/Blue
The Red/Blue Big Joe’s Noodle Span in Big Joe’s is identical to the Blurred Blue variation, with the exception of two cup holders on each armrest as well as a deeper seat. These were great additions and made the Noodle Sling a favourite to take to the beach and lake.
We stored the pool floats, seat cushions, pool noodles and toys at the end of each season. A brand new storage container was purchased last year to store all our extra floats. We brought out our Big Joe PoolFloats collection again this summer and added some new ones to the mix. The new Petz line caught our attention late last year and we were eager to test them in the pool. We must say that we have never witnessed such a rush by the children to reach their favourite pool float. The Big Joe Pool Petz were often the first to snap up, the longest squabbled about, and the most likely name by a child. The floats held up well all summer and were functional as pool floats.
