Olympic Hot Tub kicks off its 9th Annual Founder’s Event. The event honors founders Alice Cunningham and Blair Osborn and their legacy of giving. This year, Olympic Hot Tub is raising funds for Food Lifeline, a nonprofit organization whose sole mission is to feed people experiencing hunger today while working to end hunger for tomorrow.
“Alice & Blair, both brilliant businesspeople, were passionate about a number of worthwhile causes. They shared a concern about the importance of ending hunger in our region,” says Olympic Hot Tub President Don Riling. “We are so pleased to help Food Lifeline. It’s incredibly important to do what we can to help.”
Olympic will donate a portion of each saltwater Hot Spring Spa, Endless Pools swim spa, Freeflow Spa and Tylo Sauna sale toward the Founder’s Event goal of $18,000. This donation will continue Food Lifeline’s work of investing in community-led hunger solutions.
In addition to raising funds, each Olympic showroom will be collecting non-perishable food items. Food Lifeline will distribute what’s collected to area food banks around each of Olympic’s eight locations to further their community impact.
Olympic encourages community members to donate directly to Food Lifeline. “Our company has always been focused on the health and wellness of our customers — one of the reasons we’ve adopted Better You…Better Life as Olympic’s mantra. This is not limited to our physical beings but includes the health and vibrancy of our community. We’re hopeful our customers will agree and make our 9th Founder’s Event a significant contributor to Food Lifeline, to help reduce barriers and increase access to nutritious food,” says Riling.
