The wait is over: The 2025 Pentair Pool Pro Awards have opened nominations through October 19, 2025, designed to award some of the finest industry professionals that work to keep pools swim-ready in their communities.
According to the contest website, the Pentair Pool Pro Awards are looking for “backyard legends” who display the following qualities:
- Commitment and experience in the pool industry
- Passion for pools and enjoying water
- Knowledge of pool industry and products
- Customer service and safety-first approach
- Training and education expertise
- Demonstration of leadership and strong engagement in the industry
- Compelling story of success; demonstrating hard work, tenacity, and propelling growth in the industry
Now in their second year, the Pentair Pool Pro Awards have created new categories in order to honor as many individuals, both new to the industry and decades-long veterans, as possible for the work they do in keeping our industry great. Nominations can come from peers, but individuals may also nominate themselves.
This year, pool pros will be recognized in the following categories:
- Premier Pool Pro (Two winners)
- Lifetime Achievement (Two winners)
- Unsung Hero
- Advancing Automation
- Safety Advocate
Nominations opened in early September and will remain open through October 19, 2025. The voting phase will follow shortly thereafter, from October 23 – 30. Winners will be announced and celebrated in January 2026 during a private awards ceremony at the Pool and Spa Show in Atlantic City, N.J.
