Nidec/U.S. MOTORS(r), Launches Two Innovative Pump Motors at PSP/Deck Expo

Nidec Booth #8366 will demonstrate how Neptune (r) can be used with an existing clock to control motor and pumps.

ST. LOUIS MO – October 19, 2023: Innovation is the theme of Nidec’s flagship brand, U.S. MOTORS (r) at the PSP/Deck Expo this year, November 13-15. Pump motor manufacturer, MOTORS(r), has been creating groundbreaking products for over 100 years. Now they are expanding their Neptune(r), line of residential pools with two new offerings – a motor hybrid featuring two motor technologies as well as a motor 3.45 HP designed for large pool.

Soon, the new Neptune Hybrid TM is expected to be released. This patented technology combines a high-efficiency BPM motor with a standard PSC motor and a control. The BPM has variable speeds from 600 to 2,760 RPMs. This is ideal for circulating water in residential swimming pools. The PSC motor is activated at 3,450 RPMs and provides extra power for vacuuming your pool.

Hybrid motors are lower-cost, lower-power motors that offer significant energy savings to homeowners. For example, the motor only uses 12 to 14 per cent of its full-speed power when it is operated at half speed. The Neptune Hybrid meets the proposed efficiency regulations of the U.S. Department of Energy, which is expected to come into effect in 2025.

The new 3.45 HP has a variable-speed motor that is easy to operate and energy efficient. This powerful motor was designed for large residential swimming pools. It will work with any existing or new pump.

Neptune motors are compatible with existing time clocks, and can be automated to ensure worry-free operation. Nidec booth #8366 will offer a time clock connection demonstration upon request.

U.S. MOTORS also will feature the Aqua Shield Pro(r) on the trade show. The pool pump motors in this line are designed for service professionals. This finned, aluminum, fan-cooled motor with a voltage switch that can be easily changed from 115V to 208-230V is easy to install. It also has a conduit box mounted on top and enables streamlined installation. This extra protection will result in a longer-lasting motor and happier customers.

U.S. Motors offers new and replacement motors for pool and spas exclusively to pool industry professionals and distributers. Find out more at www.usmotors.com/pool-and-spa.
