The showboat resort is a family-friendly destination that has just unveiled the ISLAND Waterpark. This state-of the-art waterpark, which covers an impressive 120,000 sq. ft., promises to be an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
The project was a collaborative effort between SOSH Architects, based in Atlantic City, and Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering from Orlando. Construction began last winter.
ISLAND Waterpark offers a wide range of attractions. Its more than 317,000-gallons-of water flow through the park’s attractions. The 11 curves slides include the Electric Eel and Sonic Serpent. Slide Island has five water slides designed for younger visitors. They are safe and fun. The park introduces three exciting slides with a competitive edge, the Tidal Racers.
ISLAND Waterpark offers a wide range of attractions for water enthusiasts. Wild Wave FlowRider Surf simulator will offer not only lessons, but also hosting surfing tournaments. The Blue Cascade Waterfall is a stunning sight. You can also book the 30 foot-high Indoor Tree House to host private parties. Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy the Adventure Pool, while Island Drift Lazy River is a great place to relax. The Kids Cove is a great place for families with small children, as it offers interactive water activities that are designed just for them.
ISLAND Waterpark is unique in that it offers a fun experience for both adults and children. Six bars are located throughout the park, offering craft beers, wines selected by experts, and signature cocktail recipes. This ensures that everyone can enjoy a refreshing drink. Paradise Adult Island is a 10,000-square-foot space exclusively for adults. It features a pool with a swim up bar and a view of the Atlantic Ocean. The amenities include Peloton Bikes, chair massages and manicure stations. The waterpark transforms into an exclusive adult nightlife venue as the sun goes down, a first in its field.
The ISLAND Waterpark also incorporates innovative features to enhance the overall experience. The retractable roof is perfect for creating a captivating atmosphere with projections. The 1,000-foot Coconut Zero Gravity Coaster allows guests to enjoy the breathtaking views of the boardwalk and ocean while suspended above the park. The 300-foot RipTide Zip Line is also available for thrill-seekers.
Tower Investments CEO Bart Blatstein expressed his excitement over the new waterpark. He stated, “When they see this, it will blow them away. It is like entering a paradise. And the best part, both kids and adults can enjoy it year-round.”
ISLAND Waterpark has a variety of admission prices to make it accessible to all. General admission for the day starts at $89 while Twilight Admission, from 4pm to 8pm, begins at $69. All-Access VIP Admission, starting at $119, allows access to Paradise Adult Island and Bliss Pool as well as the swim-up Bar. Military personnel and first responders in Atlantic City are also eligible for a $10 discount. Admission is free for children under three years old.
Atlantic City’s reputation for being a hotspot of entertainment will only be cemented with the opening of ISLAND Waterpark.
