Lyon Financial Welcomes Back Gina Jernigan

Lyon Financial, a leader in pool financing, is excited to announce the return of Gina Jernigan. She will fill the role of President, assisting Dick Lyon, our Founder and CEO, in the future growth of Lyon.

Jernigan served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Lyon Financial from 1997 to 2010. For the past 14 years, she has held the role of Vice President and Regional Manager Division Manager for Regions Home Improvement Financing (formerly EnerBank USA), a trusted lending partner of Lyon Financial. Jernigan began her career in finance in 1994 as the Underwriting Manager for Contractor Support at The Associates.

Lyon Financial founder and CEO, Dick Lyon, has been associated with Jernigan for over 30 years. Having been a key liaison between Lyon Financial and Regions for more than a decade, he believes that Jernigan’s transition into her new role will be seamless.

“I am confident that Gina’s return to the Lyon team will enhance both Lyon’s success in 2025 and the success of our lender partners,” says Lyon. “She will be a tremendous asset to Lyon once again, as she has a deep understanding of our company—thanks to her previous experience at Lyon and her work with Regions/EnerBank over the past decade. We are thrilled to welcome her back home.”

As President, Jernigan will further strengthen the partnership between Lyon Financial and Regions, as well as with other lenders, while overseeing a team of over 100 dedicated employees, along with CEO, Dick Lyon.

Originally from South Carolina, Jernigan takes pride in her family’s U.S. Naval heritage. She resides in Statesville with her husband and will be based at Lyon Financial’s headquarters in Mooresville, NC.
