Local Pool Company Giving back for the Holidays

Holidays are often marked by the warmth of lights, joyful gatherings and a spirit to give. Swimming Pool Services is a local company that brings light into the lives of a family in need. The company decided to devote their time and money to the Sauer Family, who tragically suffered the loss of their mother, Abby Sauer.

Abby Sauer was a 44 year old combat medic, who served in Iraq as well as the National Guard. She was also a loving mother and wife to her two children. Her family was left to deal with the reality of her sudden diagnosis, and her subsequent death. This was especially true during ‘s holiday season.

Kaiti Lubbert, Abby’s sister-in law, described the impact Abby’s death as life-changing. “Everything has changed.” “Like, your life as you knew it,” she explained. It was especially painful because it happened shortly after Christmas. The family was left with unfulfilled plans, and the loss of someone who was “the light of everyone’s lives.”

Swimming Pool Services, in an effort to brighten up the Sauer home for the holidays, sent a team to do the decorating. The company decorated the home with holiday lights and transformed it into a beacon for hope and warmth.

Kaiti Lubbert said, “She was a light. It would be wonderful for the children to see this light.” “She radiated. “Everything she did.” These decorations in red, blue and white honor Abby for her service as a combat nurse and pay a touching tribute to her memory.

Swimming Pool Services is not the only company to do this kind act. The company decorates the homes of military families every year to honor the sacrifices they have made.

Justin Lex, from Swimming Pool Services, stressed the importance of giving to the military. He said, “We are very fortunate to live in this country and have a military who serves us.” The gesture is a way to honor and support those who have served their country selflessly.

Kaiti Lubbert nominated the Sauer Family for this kind gesture. She told reporters that she sent the nomination in because she thought there was no more deserving of a family than Mitch Sauer and his children. Swimming Pool Services, through this act of kindness to the community, not only lights up the Sauer home but also makes sure that Abby Sauer’s memory shines brightly throughout the holiday season.
