The BGC South East pool in Kingston is facing backlash after the city cut 17 hours of swim times, due to budgetary constraints, at their Bath Road location.
A group of swimmers who use the 25 m (82 ft) pool are now are calling on the city to reverse its decision.
Per a report by Kingston This Week, the city has offered those affected by the changes access to its Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, its outdoor Culligan Water Park pool, and other concessions.
The city said it plans to continue with the current swim schedule at BGC beginning in September.
