Role Description: This is a full-time Monday through Friday position. As an inground pool salesperson, you will have the opportunity to be creative, solve problems, and work closely with clients and staff. Taking the initiative and gaining experience is essential for this role, with the potential for regular pay increases for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect and generate new leads through referrals, cold calls, walk-ins, and networking.
  • Meet with potential clients to understand their swimming pool needs, preferences, and budgets.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge on swimming pools, including design options, materials, equipment, and maintenance requirements.
  • Create customized pool solutions through plans, sketches, and drawings using CAD and/or Pool Studio, and generate proposals based on their requirements.
  • Present and demonstrate pool options, addressing customers’ questions and concerns. Be able to assist with material selections.
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process from initial consultation to contract signing.
  • Work with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post-sale concerns or inquiries.
  • Keep accurate records of leads, sales, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pool technologies, and new products to provide the best recommendations to customers.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the pool, construction, or home improvement industry.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or Pool Studio helpful.
  • Knowledge of construction principles and materials is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and construction teams.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of swimming pool products, equipment, and installation processes (or willingness to learn.)
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • A valid driver’s license.
