Jeff Henriksen, Chief Strategy Officer of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, is a warm welcome

(Alexandria (Va.) – The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance is proud to announce Jeff Henriksen’s appointment as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of the organization. Henriksen will assume this position today, on March 31.

Henriksen, as CSO, will collaborate closely with the CEO, the PHTA Board, and other directors to create, communicate, implement, and evaluate strategic initiatives. Henriksen intends to implement several initiatives, including increasing PHTA’s industry thought leadership and providing more research to members and industry forecasting; creating business management courses for members; growing PHTA state chapters and regional chapters; as well as creating PHTA’s first annual report.

Jeff Henriksen has joined the PHTA organization as Chief Strategy Officer

Henriksen stated, “I am thrilled about the opportunity to be a part of such a talented organisation here at the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance.” “I believe that my industry experience in managing and launching programs across the industry will be a great asset to PHTA members as we seek to improve the effectiveness of existing programs and increase industry awareness about our members’ professionalism and knowledge.

Henriksen’s diverse professional experience combines the commitment and energy of publicly traded companies with the service mentality of non-profit membership-driven businesses. He spent over five years at the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning National Association, where he was instrumental in helping the association reach several key goals. One of his goals was to improve SMACNA’s communication and marketing infrastructure, launch their workforce initiative and increase engagement within the industry and organization.

Henriksen, who is a member of SMACNA, has recently developed a consumer-facing program that raises awareness about indoor air quality issues in schools, builders, and homeowners. This segment of the HVAC industry has the potential for higher revenue.

Henriksen also served as a leader at the British Standards Institution (BSI), the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the American Pharmacists Association. Henriksen was responsible for launching a service in 20 countries and taking an Internet startup from its initial customer to a public offering. He also assisted in 14 acquisitions. Henriksen started his career in advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Agency, New York City. He received a B.A. He earned a B.A. in Rhetoric and Communications at the University of Virginia.

Jeff Henriksen fits perfectly for PHTA,” states Sabeena, CEO and President of PHTA. His track record of success at other associations speaks volumes. As we create a strategy plan to grow the spa and hot tub industry, and ensure that our members reach their full potential, he is exactly what PHTA needs.
