This summer, Indiana-based Automatic Pool Covers, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of automatic covers for pools and spas, celebrated 20 years in the industry.
The company’s newly-expanded manufacturing facility hosted the celebration, which included a combination cake made in the form of an APC Cover-motor and PowerTouch Touchpad.
APC began as a small distributor of pool covers and started manufacturing automatic pool covers in the year 2003. Michael Shebek was the CEO and owner of APC. He worked with his late father, Mike Shebek Sr. for more than 20,000 hour installing and maintaining covers when he became the owner of the business in 2000.
Shebek says, “We decided to produce covers in 2003 as there was a demand on the market for an automatic cover designed by installers and installers.”
The commitment of the company to innovation and quick turnaround times has driven its growth, and led to its need to expand. Shebek says, “We have committed to the latest technology and manufacturing process with a focus on providing excellent customer service.” The company has the fastest turnaround time in the industry for automatic pool covers.
