A unique architectural project has been born in the rapidly changing urban landscape of Bengaluru. Skyscrapers, ambitious projects, and towering buildings are all part of this city’s ever-changing urban landscape. Vijay Mallya has unveiled the much-anticipated’sky mansion’ perched atop UB City’s iconic Kingfisher Towers. This $20 million project, which is suspended 400 feet above ground level, is certainly an unusual venture that rivals ‘s most audacious houses.

Vijay Mallya made headlines for the first time in 2010 when announced the audacious plans he had to build a mansion with the same grandeur as the White House. His grand ambition did not deter him despite the widespread skepticism. Construction on Mallya’s mansion continued even as his financial problems grew. His circumstances eventually forced him to leave the country and move to the United Kingdom. This left his ambitious residence unfinished.

Mallya’s sky mansion is now located on the 33rd & 34th floors of Kingfisher Tower. It covers an area of 40,000 square metres. Uncertainty surrounds the extent of its amenities. The original plans included a range of extravagant amenities, such as a wine cellar and a heated indoor pool. There was also an outdoor infinity swimming pool, a salon and spa, a gym, and a rooftop helicopter pad.

Vijay Mallya fled India in March 2016, amidst mounting financial debts and allegations of financial impropriety. Mallya was accused of borrowing astronomical amounts of money, which were never paid back.
