Hydra Pools is excited to announce the appointment of Thomas Kennedy as the new Director of Marketing, effective April 14, 2025. With over 16 years of experience in the pool industry, including a long tenure as Marketing Director at Tara Pool & Outdoor Products, Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge in brand development, dealer support and strategic marketing.
In his new role, Thomas will focus on expanding Hydra Pools’ brand presence and developing comprehensive marketing strategies. His efforts will include creating sales tools, enhancing customer education, launching digital and social media campaigns and building resources for Hydra’s growing network of dealers.
“I’m very excited about the potential here at Hydra. They’ve got a full line of quality products including steel and polymer pool kits, vinyl liners, safety covers and steps. They have a loyal customer base that’s been built with very little marketing. That says a lot about the strength of the products and the relationships they’ve built over the years. There’s a solid foundation in place and I’m looking forward to helping tell that story and take the brand to the next level,” says Thomas Kennedy.
Hydra Pools, known for its American-made products and strong dealer relationships, has historically grown through word of mouth and strong service. With Thomas on board, the company is taking a more strategic approach to marketing by developing tools, programs and messaging that will help drive growth, strengthen dealer support and reach new audiences in the vinyl pool market.
