(Alexandria (Va.) – GENESIS(r), a company belonging to the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, (PHTA), is proud to announce Greg Andrews as its Tile Faculty Advisor. Andrews, who has been in the tile business for more than 40 years, is the Co-Founder and Stone Authority, Inc.

Andrews has focused his work almost exclusively on pool tile installations for the past 20 years. Andrews joined GENESIS(r), as an instructor, more than 10 years ago. He has taught many courses, including pool tile and coping and waterproofing. He is the key instructor for C201: GENESIS (r) CONSTRUCTION SCHOL: Concrete Pools. This course is one of the most popular.

Andrews says that GeneSIS(r), is a great asset to the pool industry. Andrews says that GeneSIS(r) has been providing quality education for over 25 years. This allows them to continue to be a leader in elevating the pool industry. As part of the GENESISr faculty, I am excited to play a greater role and positively impact pool builders and industry professionals.

Andrews, as Tile Faculty Advisor will be instrumental in maintaining the GENESIS(r), curriculum updated with cutting-edge technologies and developing new courses that address industry issues. Andrews will be available for students beyond the classroom, and be the “hotline” of industry professionals with questions about tile, waterproofing, and coping.

Skip Phillips, GENESIS (r) Co-Founder, Certified Master Pool Builder and Design Pro, says that Andrews has been a valued family member for many years. His decades of experience in the niche of our industry gives our courses a unique perspective that our students truly appreciate. Andrews is a great addition to our team.
