The Florida Swims Foundation has announced its new “Swim for Life’ license plate, which is available for pre-order on the Florida Swims Foundation Website in conjunction with Florida Department of Motor Vehicles.

The license plate art was created by Converge Public Strategies in collaboration with the Foundation, which is under the umbrella of Florida Swimming Pool Association ( FSPA).

The proceeds from the sale of this plate will go towards the Foundation’s goal of funding swimming lessons for Florida children.

We are excited to announce this opportunity to the public to support the Foundation in its mission to provide education about water to children who lack resources. “Swim lessons can change a child’s life and they should be available to all children,” said Elizabeth McMurray. FSPA Executive Director.

Pre-orders are currently being accepted for the license plate through a number of options. These options are shown in the included graphic.

The partnership between the Florida Swims Foundation and FSPA is stronger than ever following our collaboration on this project, said Dallas Thiesen Senior Director of Government Relations at FSPA. We look forward to working together in the implementation phase of license plate pre-sales.

Once the 3,000 pre-order minimum is reached, motor vehicle owners will be able to order this specialty license plate. The plates will be produced immediately after the minimum pre-order threshold is reached. They will then be distributed to all drivers in the state.

The Florida Swims Foundation has had a longstanding goal to create a visual symbol that would last for a very long time. This was stated by Ben Evans President of the Florida Swims Foundation. The new ‘Swim for Life Plate’ is a symbol of this goal. This new initiative will allow us to share our mission across the state of Florida.
