The shortage of labor is one of the greatest challenges in today’s market. Many companies are looking for new ways to install and service more pools with smaller crews in today’s market. Pool professionals no longer have to specialize in one type of construction. To keep their pool business competitive, even long-time inground pool builders of other types are adding fibreglass swimming pools.
A fibreglass pool is another option. This is because companies can add more pools to meet demand over the season, with smaller crews and still have high profit margins.
More installations in a shorter time
Fibreglass pools are not as difficult to install as other inground pool types. They also don’t come at a high price. Fibreglass pools offer virtually all features that a consumer would want, including large tanning ledges and beach entry designs.

These pools are now available in a variety of sizes and features, unlike the old fibreglass pools. They also come with improved construction features that make it easy for builders to install pools. Many manufacturers have patented their fibreglass pool construction to make it easy for builders to install the pools quickly and efficiently. A rounded skimmer, for example, could be designed to fit fibreglass pools’ draft angles and eliminate the technical difficulties associated with installing a square one. This pool will make it easier for installers to accurately cut the skimmer hole.
