Enhanced Pool Care: Elevated Lifestyle with Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max

My Experience with the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro MaxA Testimonial by Jason Michael

In my near decade of owning a pool, I’ve learned that the backyard pool experience can be an absolute bonding moment, full of highlights throughout the year, but it can also be a burden, a constant reminder that the work – the work is never done. Pool ownership is a luxury that comes with its own set of maintenance challenges. Since I got my pool installed nearly ten years ago, I’ve been on a never-ending hunt to find simpler, more efficient ways of cleaning it. From pool services, to chemicals, and the temptation of the big name corded cleaners, I rarely got the results I was striving for at a price I was comfortable with. That all changed when I discovered Aiper, I was an early adopter of Aiper products and that alone made pool ownership simpler, with advances in technology, Aiper has added more features, more usability, and more things pool owners like I have been asking for. Now, Aiper has delivered the all-new, Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max($2,299), a state-of-the-art robotic pool cleaner that has transformed and simplified my pool cleaning routine.

I once came back from vacation in the B.A. days (Before Aiper) to discover an algae overgrowth, my daughter, who was six at the time ran for the pool. Thankfully, her brother stopped her, in that moment I feared what my own pool could do to my family. A clean pool is crucial not only for the aesthetic pleasure, for crafting that backyard sanctuary that we all want to retreat to but it’s also important for a plethora of potential health and safety reasons. A poorly maintained pool can become a breeding ground for bacteria and the aforementioned algae. Even a small untreated area can lead to larger problems.

I never liked the old-school manual scrubbing and chemical treatments, they were labor-intensive, and I always worried that I could be doing something wrong with the chemicals. While I was taught myself and evolved as a pool owner, there was that nagging aspect of the job never being done, small debris in my pool that I could never quite effectively capture and remove consistently. The inconsistency and physical demand of manual pool cleaning have long called for a more efficient and more reliable solution.

Robotic pool cleaners, to my surprise, have been around for decades but really didn’t become commonplace till the early 2000’s. The mainstream adoption of robotic pool cleaners was a significant advancement for pool owners around the world, promising better days by the pool ahead. These devices promised to automate the cleaning process, reduce physical labor, and provide more consistent results. However, those early models of robotic cleaners came with their own set of challenges. Many were tethered with cords, and some of the big brands still are! But that severely limited their range and maneuverability or altogether made those products a non-option if your pool wasn’t close to an available power outlet. And let’s not even mention the potential hazards of tangled cords, again, I have children and the corded models always set off alarm bells into my brain.

Furthermore, these devices were erratic, once in the pool – they acted on their own. The inability of these early models to communicate underwater, or even interact with them until they were done, often resulted in less than stellar results in my friends’ pools. That’s why I eventually picked up an Aiper, and it completely alleviated a lot of my pool concerns and was a solid pool companion for the last few years.

Now, the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max($2,299) represents a leap forward for pool owners looking to further automate the pool maintenance process with advanced technology and more features than any other pool cleaner on the market. Its ability to clean waterlines, floors, walls, and even the water’s surface, one of the biggest challenges I faced with previous cleaners – this made the Scuba X1 Pro Max ($2,299) an all-in-one solution for every inch of my pool, top-to-bottom.

An all-around powerhouse, the Scuba X1 Pro Max ($2,299) navigates my pool, the drains and stairs, and seamlessly polishes the entire pool, adapting its cleaning methods and giving my pool a consistent clean that I could never have done myself. Using the X1 Pro Max, my pool is visibly cleaner than ever before, and I spend even less time than before managing it compared to my previous Aiper, thanks to the inclusion of the Aiper App and several of its features. I spoke to some fabulous Aiper representatives at a trade show recently and they attributed my experience to their integration of a TVC engine, apparently inspired by fighter jets, which sounds impressive but I’m just glad my pool is that much cleaner.

That same TVC engine, among the nine in total motors, are also behind the ultra-impressive suction capability. 8500 gallons per hour of suction, which is by far an industry leading statistic, that power allows the Scuba X1 Pro Max($2,299) to efficiently remove all types of debris from large leaves to those finer, unseen particles lurking in the pool. Combined with their ultra-fine filter system, which Aiper calls MicroMesh™, captures debris as small as a few microns and is an absolute game changer, it also calls back to what I mentioned about our pool’s health earlier. These two features alone added a significant peace of mind to my pool experience, ensuring that the water remains crystal clear while significantly reduces the need for chemical treatments to manage algae and bacteria, which again, less work and science for me. Huzzah!

Forty sensors were packed into the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max($2,299), which, I don’t even think my car has that many sensors. I won’t pretend to know what all forty of these sensors, but I know its intelligent and lightyears ahead of its predecessors. These sensors are said to truly map out your pool in a way that’s never been done before, no longer adapting to your pool, the Pro Max intelligently, meticulously plans the most efficient cleaning route for your pool. It cleans every corner and curve without redundancy, not only ensuring a thorough cleaning but also optimizes battery use and overall efficiency. Speaking of battery efficiency, one feature I think a lot of people will love is that the sensors can detect the cleanliness level of your pool and adjust its power output to meet the specific needs of your pool’s current condition. That means in dirtier pools, the Pro Max will ramp up its power and clean harder, in cleaner pools, those pools that do routine maintenance – the X1 Pro Max will conserve power and clean longer, effectively getting more cleaning for your money. All in all, you’re getting five hours of excellent cleaning performance for the whole pool, and if you’re just looking to keep the device in skimming mode to pick up those pesky leaves and prevent them from becoming floor debris, then you’re getting up to ten hours of performance on the water’s surface.

Aiper has always touted itself as the leader in cordless cleaning, they’ve set out to revolutionize and modernize pool cleaning by bringing smart-device, smart-home elements, to the outdoors. Aiper devices have always been, in my eyes, significantly easier and safer to use due to their cordless nature and the Scuba X1 Pro Max ($2,299) has gone further to become a true cordless device. Combined with the HydroComm Pro( $449), which I’m beta testing as we speak, I’m able to communicate with my X1 Pro Max under water. I see real-time water quality results, can change the cleaning plan in the middle of operation, and recall the device up to the entry-point in the pool within the Aiper App. I’m armed with more knowledge, more capability, and more customization than ever before to dictate how I clean. Now, I know this is all completely optional, some people prefer to just set and forget and come back later to a clean pool and I completely understand, but Aiper has gone further with the X1 Pro Max and given pool owners as many tools to keep their pool as clean and pristine as possible.

Investing in a pool cleaner for some takes a leap of faith, and you want to put that faith in a brand you can trust. These devices are great, but some of them can get pricey. You want value for your money and a return on your time, for that I stand by Aiper. The X1 Pro Max is not my first Aiper device, and I couldn’t be happier with the treatment from Aiper. They’ve got a strong customer service department, great loyalty programs, and have earned international safety certifications left and right. With Aiper, I feel like I’ve got an ally in my pool maintenance battle, and that’s fitting given the X1 Pro Max’s slogan, Your New Poolside Hero, which I absolutely agree with. The peace of mind this device has given me is invaluable, has exceeded my expectations, and I’m happy to know this device will evolve over time with OTA updates making my cleaning more efficient, more convenient, for as long as I own this device.
