The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has lifted the E. coli advisory which was issued for Regina Beach.

The public health department says E.coli levels are better now and the beach is suitable to swim in and use for other recreational activities.

Although SHA tests the water at Regina Beach weekly, it did additional testing on Friday, which indicated E.coli levels were within the guidelines. They then removed the health warning signage.

When the beach was under advisory earlier, E. coli levels were more than 30 times higher than last month, according to SHA.
