Daich Coatings: TracSafe Anti-Slip Color Kit

Transforming slippery surfaces around the home into beautiful and safe areas just got easier with the new TracSafe Anti-Slip Color Kit. The all-inclusive kit includes two gallons of TracSafe Anti-Slip Color Coat in a choice of five colors, plus one gallon of clear TracSafe Anti-Slip Sealer and two application rollers.

Ideal for enhancing walkways, pool decks, patios, garage and basement floors along with other drab surfaces, TracSafe can help make slippery spaces safer and more attractive. Each kit contains enough product to cover up to 200 square feet and retails for $149.99.

“We’ve sold these TracSafe products individually for years,” says Peter Daich, president of Daich Coatings. “Now we’re putting them together into a kit to make it even easier for people to do this home improvement project.”

Easy DIY Project

According to Daich, the odorless, fast-drying aspect of the TracSafe products make this an effortless DIY project for anyone.

Unnamed“The TracSafe products roll on easily to quickly update an ugly, old surface,” says Daich. “TracSafe Anti-Slip Color Coat has a light stone speckle to it that sparkles in the sunshine. Color options include Graphite, Shell Grey, Cream, Clay Brick and Terracotta. The clear coat of TracSafe Anti-Slip Sealer protects the coating from dirt, water and chemicals, and adds another level of slip-resistance to the floor.”

Both TracSafe products have been tested and achieved ratings up to twice the industry-recommended safety standard. The product’s aggressive anti-slip performance with all-weather durability is ideal for both residential and commercial settings.

Who’s Falling?

According to the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI), falls account for over eight million hospital emergency room visits, representing the leading cause of visits (21.3%). Slips and falls account for over one million visits, or 12% of total falls. The NFSI website also reports that each year, in the United States, one of every three persons over the age of 65 will experience a fall … half of which are repeat fallers.

Unnamed (1)“Homeowners can help reduce the risk of falls by using products with anti-slip technology,” says Daich. “The TracSafe Anti-Slip Sealer lays down a uniform foot traction surface that exhibits effective slip resistance properties in both wet and dry conditions. This is effective with bare feet and various common pedestrian and work footwear.

“Once applied, the exceptional slip-resistant features of TracSafe helps people avoid dangerous slips and falls. This has the potential to reduce prolonged pain for individuals, plus costly litigation and skyrocketing insurance costs.”

The TracSafe Anti-Slip Color Kit, along with other Daich Coatings primers and decorative concrete products, is available online at The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and https://www.daichcoatings.com.
