for a philanthropic initiative and a chance
to honor founder Marshall Richardson
on the company’s 40th anniversary. They
found it in Celestial Skies, an exclusive
new vinyl-liner pattern, profits from the
sales of which will be donated to the Cure
Alzheimer’s Fund.
“We were really looking to create
something that meant something to
people,” says Katie Venckus, creator and
Tara business development director.
“We were initially inspired by i2M’s
contribution to a Hope Line for Breast
Cancer, so we decided to collaborate
on the Celestial Skies Liner Pattern
for Alzheimer’s Disease with i2M too.
Alzheimer’s has affected a lot of us;
many of us at Tara have had a loved one
affected by this disease.”

The purple tones in the liner
represent Alzheimer’s, and the celestial
design is a nod to Richardson, who
began his professional journey as an
aerospace engineer at Lockheed Martin
in Huntsville, Ala. — otherwise known as
Rocket City — which is the home of Tara
Pool & Outdoor Products.
Apart from a philanthropic initiative,
the Celestial Skies Liner also embodies
a sustainability initiative. It is printed on
ReNew vinyl, which is certified to contain
51% recycled content, thus each liner
diverts around 100 pounds of plastic from
the waste stream. It uses cutting-edge UV
and anti-microbial additives — coupled
with vigorous testing for weldability,
chlorine and abrasion resistance —
resulting in a strong, sustainable liner.
