Elevating waterpark entrances with cast concrete and artificial rock

In July 2023, Atlantic City became home to one of the largest, beachfront, indoor waterparks in the world. Known as The Island Waterpark at the Showboat Resort, the 11,148 m2 (120,000 sf) oasis includes 11 waterslides, six bars, and a 1,921 m2 (6,500 ft) lazy river—altogether holding more than 1 million L (317,000 gal) of water. At the entrance of the waterpark, Rico Rock designed and built the cast concrete rock water feature that welcomes visitors.

Qubein Arena Panther Fountain: Installing statement water Features

The Qubein Arena Panther Fountain project at High Point University was a remarkable endeavor undertaken by Fountain People. The exterior circular tiered fountain features a 6-m (20-ft) bronze sculpture of a Panther. The fountain boasts cascading water from upper to lower basins, with carefully selected light-emitting diode (LED) lights illuminating the spectacle.

Pool heating system fails: Company comes up with a solution

Management at Presidential City called Patriot Pool Heating Co., in 2020, explaining the changes they wanted to make, and how the existing pool heaters were underperforming and consuming more natural gas than expected. Inspectors from the heating company found out all the units, which had already been replaced at least once in seven years, were no longer up to the task.
