Calgary’s outdoor water restrictions can save up to 606 Olympic-sized pools of water
The City of Calgary has lifted citywide outdoor water use restrictions at the start of November, marking the end of a two-month period where Calgarians adhered to guidelines to combat drought conditions. The restrictions contributed to saving 1.5 billion L (396 million gal) of water, equivalent to 606 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
