Azenco Outdoor Acquired by Hunter Douglas

Luxury outdoor living brand Azenco Outdoor is pleased to announce it has been acquired by the widely known leader in the window covering industry, Hunter Douglas, Inc. The transaction closed this month will help Azenco Outdoor to establish a stronger local presence with vendors nationwide and new manufacturing locations.

Azenco Outdoor designs and manufactures a range of innovative bioclimatic pergolas, cabanas, carports, and swimming pool covers that, according to the company, elegantly complement any architectural style and optimize every residential or commercial outdoor space.

“Hunter Douglas approached us when they found a complementary synergy with our products and desire to add sophisticated and sustainable pergolas and cabanas to their portfolio. We are very much aligned with the values and quality of the other in-demand and innovative brands they have acquired over the past few years and were thrilled to come together for a mutual benefit,” remarks Leslie Chapus, Azenco’s vice president and co-founder.

Many notable luxury entities including Hilton, Marriott, Starbucks, and Aston Martin Residences have commissioned Azenco’s outdoor expertise to enhance their properties. The brand has also found success within the golf world at several high-end clubs and PopStroke, Tiger Woods’ experiential golf and casual dining concept. Prominent country clubs such as Boca West, Admirals Cove, and Jonathan’s Landing, also have Azenco to credit for their chic outdoor areas. The brand says its influence extends further through its work adorning significant celebrity homes nationwide including that of Jordan Rodgers and Joelle Fletcher.

Azenco Outdoor will continue its commercial policy and Charles and Leslie Chapus will proceed to run all operations on a hands-on level in the Miami location.
