A deep look at Stadium Swim with Bradford Products

Bradford Products has been manufacturing stainless steel vessels for many years. The firm is well-known for its ability to produce high-end water features and swimming pools in resort-style settings. It should not surprise that Bradford Products is the company behind the famous Stadium Swim, a huge swimming pool sports book at the Circa Resort & casino in Las Vegas.

We had the chance to talk with Mike Sage, VP Sales & Marketing at Bradford Products, about the pool and get some insights into why Bradford was chosen for this project.

Why Bradford Products was chosen for the Stadium Swim Project

Sage stated that the aquatic vertical is the backbone of our company and the most important part of our business. It encompasses all custom and commercially-made elevated stainless steel pools and spas. This is probably the most popular thing we do. This applies to anything that is placed on top of an apartment or Las Vegas pool deck, or any of our custom applications for swimming pools or spas all around the globe.

Sage stated that there are over 10,000 spa and pool installations around the world, so project planners at Circa didn’t need to look far for Bradford Products. They have been responsible for numerous well-respected resort swimming pools around the globe. They were also involved in the collaboration with Sky Pool, a high-end pool project located in London.

Sage said, “We have a lot experience in Las Vegas having worked with all the major resorts there and having installed just a huge number of pools and decks.” Circa was a unique project for many of the top players. It is located in the historic downtown area of Las Vegas. It is a tighter area, which created unique challenges when building this particular casino. The pool presented unique challenges.

Sage stated that Sage was convinced that there was no other option than to work with Sage. It made sense for project planners to choose Bradford Products. They have had the privilege to work with the Bellagio and Caesars Palace as well as Encore, Wynn, Encore and Palms Casino. The reputation of the 40-year-old company is a major asset to the Las Vegas market for resort swimming pools.

Bradford was selected as the pool supplier. First and foremost, the orientation of the pool deck was the main reason. Stadium Swim is directly above the casino’s gaming floor. Sage explained that the casino’s heart, soul, and money generator is located directly above Stadium Swim. Therefore, there had to be a high level of security to ensure that these pools would not leak or become contaminated over time. Bradford was selected because we were able to deliver a fully welded and guaranteed watertight stainless steel pool that would be placed over the most important part of the casino.

Sage stated that they needed to be able to lift these pools to the deck in tight areas. Sage also said that it was important to have an organization that could maximize the section sizes for transport, including cranes, while still fitting into tight spaces.

Stadium Swim, a Unique Pool Experience Like No Other

Sage said that while the project was huge, it was achievable in just a few hours. He is eager to tackle any new Las Vegas project. Sage continues to be a dominant Las Vegas firm when it comes to commercial work. This is yet another accolade for them. Stadium Swim’s final results speak for themselves.

It is truly a unique design. Six pools are available and each one is tiered. The pools are arranged at the lowest elevation. However, the pools that are further from television screens will be higher. Sage explained that it truly is a stadium seating experience.

Sage explained that it is the first pool deck to double as a sportsbook. Sage said that there are a number of TVs on the wall that broadcast any number of sporting events. The pool deck’s spas and pools serve as seating to watch the action. It’s very comfortable, I can confirm that having been on the deck during August in Las Vegas. It’s hard to find a better place than Stadium Swimming to watch the big game. The huge screens are what grabs everyone’s attention.

The project is certainly intriguing to us. It’s not surprising that Stadium Swim is ranked #1 on our list Best Swimming Pools in Las Vegas. We will keep you informed with additional great content about Stadium Swim during our November trip to the International Pool Spa Patio Expo.
