BioLab is pleased to congratulate its long-time employee, Alicia Stephens, on being awarded Trainer of the Year at the Pool Nation Awards.
Alicia joined Biolab in April of 2000 as a temporary summer team working for the Technical Solutions Team. Hired on full time in August, she spent 3 years with the Customer Care Group before moving on to the Technical Services Team to focus on new product support integration and technical product support, including customer training and education. In 2006, Alicia transitioned to the role of Education Manager for Biolab and has focused her efforts on the education and training of both internal and external employees. You may have read one of the many articles Alicia has had published or attended one of her talks at an industry event.
Currently, Alicia is the Director of Training and Education for the Biolab Pro Dealer Division and she pursues her passion for education and training through a combination of in-person instruction, virtual learning opportunities, online education modules, and 1-1 interactions. She is responsible for developing a training curriculum to meet the needs of the Pro Dealer Division and to develop the strategy and resources to drive the future success of the division. “Being a part of the pool and spa industry’s education is my passion and I am honored to have received this award,” says Stephens.
