Pool Corporation (Nasdaq/GSM: POOL) announced today that it has acquired the wholesale distribution assets of Jackson, Mississippi-based Shoreline Pool Distribution LLC (“Shoreline”). Shoreline serves Gulf Coast markets from distribution centers in Jackson and Hattiesburg, Miss. Shoreline’s owners, Tommy and Shane Draughn also own and operate CPS Pools and Spas, a swimming pool products and supplies retail store in Jackson. CPS Pools and Spas is not included in the acquisition, and Tommy and Shane Draughn will continue to operate it as an independent retail outlet.
