Automatic Pool Covers Helps Pack Away Hunger

Automatic Pool Covers, Inc. recently partnered with the Pack Away Hunger organization in Indianapolis to pack meals to help fight hunger.

The Automatic Pool Covers’ team had 60 employees over three shifts work with the Pack Away Hunger team that resulted in the efficient packing of 9,600 meals. These meals will go to families in Indiana as well as needy families in Sudan, Africa. Working in an assembly line, the packaged meals included nutrient packs, soy, rice, vegetables and more.

“We are always looking for opportunities to give back to those who are less fortunate,” says Michael Shebek, CEO of Automatic Pool Covers, Ind. “Our compassionate team truly cares about helping others in their time of need, and we are proud to offer our time and energy to get food to those that need it most.”
