Westfield, Indiana —Automatic Pool Covers, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of automatic pool cover for swimming pools, spas, and new construction, celebrated their 20 thyear of manufacturing these covers this summer. The company began in 1979 as a pool cover distributor. In 2003, it produced its first automatic covers. Michael Shebek was the owner and CEO of the business when he assumed ownership in 2000. He worked with his late father, Mike Shebek Sr. for more than 20,000 hour installing and maintaining covers.
Shebek explains that in 2003, they decided to produce covers because the market needed an automatic cover designed by installers.
The commitment of the company to innovation and quick turnaround times has driven the company’s growth, and the need to expand its facility. Shebek says, “We have committed to the latest technology and manufacturing process with a focus on providing excellent customer service.” The company has the fastest turnaround time in the industry for automatic pool covers. “The pool professionals in our field appreciate our quick turnaround times and commitment to high-quality, automatic pool covers. Many of the 130 employees have been working for the company since 2003, when it began manufacturing automatic pool covers.
